DOVER – Jamari M. Robb, 17, entered into rest at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born April 28, 2006 in Richmond, VA, Jamari was a son of William A. Robb of Richmond, VA and Shannen J. Cromartie of Dover.

Jamari was currently a senior at Dover Area High School where he was an accomplished track athlete.  He recently earned the rank of 3rd place in the county for the Triple Jump in the York Adams League.  Jamari enjoyed photography and playing the guitar.  He also worked at Giant Food Store in Dover.

In addition to his parents, Jamari is survived by his brother, Jordin Cromartie of Dover; sister, Naobi Cook of Winchester, VA; maternal grandmother, Geraldine Anderson and husband, Keith of Harrisburg; maternal grandfather, Samuel Jones and wife, Debra of Charlottesville, VA; uncle, Jevon Jones of Harrisburg; aunts, Venus Pannell, Latoya Robb and Corinthia Robb; his father’s fiancée, Tiffany of Richmond, VA; step-father, Rafael Cromartie of Dover; and a large extended family.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Marie Robb and uncle, Teco Harris.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a time of visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dover Eagle Athletic Booster Club, c/o Dover Area High School, 4500 Intermediate Ave., Dover, PA 17315, notating “Dover Track & Field” on the memo line of the check.
