Betty M. Harget

DOVER – Betty M. (Stone) Harget, 87, entered into rest Wednesday evening, September 9, 2026 at Senior Commons at Powder Mill in York.  She was the wife of the late Eugene O. Harget for 51 years.

Born in Latimore Township, Betty was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Shaffer) Stone.

She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Royal U.M. Church.  Betty had a green thumb and loved to garden.  She was also known as the "puzzle queen" and enjoyed doing puzzle books.

Betty is survived by her five daughters, Donna, Barbara, Sandra, Susan and Brenda; twelve grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine and three brothers, Charles, Parker and John.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Betty's funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Red Mount Cemetery.
