David A. Beck

YORK – David A. Beck, 83, entered into rest at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at his home.  He was the husband of the late Christine A. Beck.

Born September 15, 1943 in York, David was a son of the late Harry and Anna (Bentz) Beck.

He graduated from Northeastern High School and retired in 2021 following 44 years as a self-employed mason with Beck and Slanker and more recently, Dave Beck Masonry.

David enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spoiling his dog, Zoey.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal L. Bupp of Etters; three grandchildren, Steve A. Fox, Cory A. Bupp and Nicole Landis; four great grandchildren; and his brother, Rodney Beck of York.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin A. Stine; two sisters; and three brothers.

Following cremation, a time to celebrate David's life will be scheduled at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
