Dolores E. Klinedinst

YORK – Dolores E. (Smith) Klinedinst, 90, of York, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at her home.  She was the wife of Richard Klinedinst whom she married 69 years ago on August 9, 1952.

Mrs. Klinedinst was born December 28, 1930, in York and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Pauline (Forry) Smith.

She graduated in 1948 from William Penn High School in York.  She was a member of the York Seventh Day Adventist Church on Roosevelt Ave., York.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Mrs. Klinedinst is survived by her daughter, Pamela Huff and her husband Jeff of College Park, MD and her son, David Klinedinst and his wife Marquita of Woodstock, MD and two granddaughters, Melaney and Emiley.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Jane DeFrank.

Her funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the York Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2220 Roosevelt Ave., York.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday at the church.  Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.  Officiating at her service will be Pastor Randy Nims and her son Pastor David Klinedinst.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Dover.
