Donald E. Hutchins

DOVER – Donald E. Hutchins, 58, entered into rest Friday evening, December 14, 2018 at Pappus House in York.

Born June 17, 1960 in York, he was the son of Shirley A. (Wolgamuth) Hutchins of Dover and the late Harold E. Hutchins.

Donald graduated from Dover High School in 1978.

He worked as a custodian for various York County School Districts and Wal-Mart.

Donald was a member of Dover U.C.C. where he was a choir member and a past member of the church council.  He was also a member of Dover Lions Club.  He enjoyed cryptograms and loved music.  Donald played the trumpet as well.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Pamela S. Emig and husband, Terry of Dover; two nephews, David G. Emig and wife, Amanda and Jon E. Emig; and a large extended family.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his niece, Emily Jo Emig.

Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend Donald's funeral at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Dover U.C.C., 45 W. Canal St., Dover.  The viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday at the church.  Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Eva O'Diam.
