Eugene A. Blake

DOVER – Eugene A. Blake, 79, entered in to rest Monday morning, July 27, 2026 at WellSpan York Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born November 25, 1946 in Lewisberry, he was a son of the late Calvin and Sylvia (Krone) Blake.

Eugene graduated from Northern York High School in 1965 and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served during the Vietnam War.  He worked in the concrete industry.

Eugene is survived by his son, Seth T. Blake and wife, Kayla of Dover; two grandchildren, Annaleigh Mae Blake and Sawyer Thomas Blake; five siblings, Ruth Blake, Richard Blake, Robert Blake and Shirley Ettinger, all of Dover, and Rose Blake of Steelton; a niece, Elizabeth Daniels; a nephew, Daymon Hicks; a great niece, Jasmine Daniels; and his former wife, Robin Blauser of Wallingford, PA.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mildred Ballantyne and Betty Klugh.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Eugene's graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 in Emanuel Cemetery, 1168 Pinetown Rd., Lewisberry, where veteran's honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Officiating will be Pastor John Andrews of Deliverance Tabernacle in Lewisberry.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
