Evelyn E. Sennett

DOVER – Evelyn E. (Miles) Sennett, 88 of Dover, PA passed away, Monday, July 6, 2026, at Yorkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in York, PA.  She was the wife of the late Charles R. Sennett, Sr. who passed away January 4, 2020.

Evelyn was born October 23, 1937, in Baltimore, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Leonard and Evelyn (Williams) Miles.

She graduated in 1955 from Southeran High School in Baltimore, Maryland.  She was employed in the accounts payable department of the Bon Ton Department Store in York for over 20 years.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Charles Sennett, Jr. and his wife, Debra of Dover, PA, Mark Sennett of Hanover, PA, Brian Sennett and his wife, Kristi of Michigan, and David Sennett of York, PA; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

In addition, Evelyn is survived by her sister, Norma Schenning and her husband, Matt Schenning and 4 nephews.

Her funeral service and burial will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
