Florence M. Stover

YORK – Florence M. Stover, 97, entered into rest at 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at ManorCare North.  She was the wife of the late Ralph G. Stover.

Born June 18, 1921 in Taxville, she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Sarah E. (Altland) Deisinger.

Florence retired in 1995 following 16 years of service for the Community Progress Council where she was a switchboard operator.  She was previously employed by Dentsply for 25 years.

Florence was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Roundtown.

She is survived by a brother, Corwell E. Deisinger and wife, Barbara of Manchester and five nephews, Blaine and Barry Snell and Steven, Mark and Jeffrey Deisinger.  In addition to her husband and parents, Florence was preceded in death by her sister, Nina R. Witmer.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Florence's graveside service at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in Paradise Holtzschwamm Union Cemetery, 3241 Church Rd., Thomasville.  Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Stephen Yambor.  Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving her family.
