Helen M. Davis LAKELAND, FL – Helen M. Davis, 89, entered into rest on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, Florida.  She was the wife of the late Joseph W. Davis, Jr. who passed away on July 23, 2021. Born September 25, 1932 in Wellsville, Helen was a daughter of the late Sylvan and Virginia Boring. She worked for Motor Freight Trucking Company in York. Helen is survived by two sons, William J. Davis, Sr. of East Berlin and Gregory Davis of Fleetwood; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a brother, James Boring of Largo, FL.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jake and Ed Boring; and a sister, Kathy Albright. Services for Helen will be private.  Burial is in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.
