Helen B. Yates YORK – Helen B. Yates, 86, entered into rest at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at UPMC Memorial Hospital. Born January 2, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Regina (Pionkowski) Liska. Helen owned Casa Roma Restaurant in Seminole, FL. She had also worked for Bell Telephone and HSN. She attended Praise Community Church in York. Helen absolutely loved food, listening to music, watching old movies and thrift shopping and selling.  She loved people and was loved by many.  Most of all, she especially loved spending time with her family. Helen is survived by three sons, Chris Yates and wife, Angel of York, Dirk Yates and wife, Susan of Arvada, CO and Mike Yates and wife, Carla of Tierra Verde, FL; a foster son, John Kozak of San Diego, CA; a granddaughter, Jessica Yates-Frye and husband, Jake; and former husband, Ronald Yates.  She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Yates and her brother, Michael Liska. There are no services scheduled for Helen at this time.
