Joan M. Sollenberger YORK – Joan M. Sollenberger, 75, entered into rest at 9:55 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Kingston Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in York.  She was the wife of the late Galen R. "Sam" Sollenberger.

Born June 17, 1951 in York, Joan was a daughter of the late Clarence and Priscilla M. (Housseal) Strickler.

She graduated from York High in 1968 and worked as a seamstress for Doespun and Danskin.

Joan enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her two sons, Edward M. Inners III and Jason R. Sollenberger of York; a granddaughter, Tonya Marie Capps; niece, Amy and nephew, Troy.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane L. Shultz and brother, Barry M. Strickler.

Following cremation, services for Joan will be private at the convenience of her family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
