John B. Knaub

YORK – John B. Knaub, 88, entered into rest Wednesday, November 4, 2026. He was the loving husband of Alice F. (Noel) Knaub.

Born November 13, 1937 in North Codorus Township, he was a son of the late Ralph and Edith (Beaverson) Knaub.

John graduated from William Penn High School in 1955. He retired from BMY in 1999 following over 40 years of service.

John was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles, Miami Dolphins and Oregon Ducks.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sherry A. Carlisle and husband, Bob and Christine M. Latshaw and husband, Bill, all of York; six grandchildren, Billy “Wonk”, Vanessa “Rutt”, Corey “Buzz”, Bruce “Peep”, Derek “Thump” and Jonathon “Arnie”; numerous great grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Fry of York. John was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Shonna E. Dodaro; a brother, Ralph Knaub, Jr.; and four sisters, Arlene Knaub, Mildred Briggs, Charlotte Glusco and Norma Yost.

In keeping with John’s wishes, following cremation, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
