Julia A. Krone

DOVER – Julia A. "Nick" Krone, 81, entered into rest at 8:27 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026 at York North Rehab & Nursing.

Born June 12, 1945 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Bertna M. (Myers) Krone, Sr.

Julia graduated from Dover High School in 1963. She retired from HealthSouth where she worked in the accounting department and had previously worked for Sylvania.

Julia enjoyed needlework including cross-stitching, crocheting, and knitting, as well as spending time immersed in a good book. She also loved shopping and had a special fondness for collecting dolls.

Julia is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Arthur J. Krone, Jr., Dale E. Krone, Sr., Lewis C. Krone, Sr., Grace L. Baker and Delores Mae "Tut" Krone.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Julia's funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Salem Union Cemetery, Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Christ U.C.C. in Jefferson.
