Kay L. Ruppert

DOVER – Kay L. (Albright) Ruppert, 62, entered into rest at 1:11 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026 at her home.  She was the loving companion of John F. Hilbert.  They were together for over 30 years.

Born July 1, 1964 in York, Kay was a daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Phyllis L. (Updike) Albright.

She had over 35 years of service for Graham Architecture in York.  Kay hardly ever passed up the opportunity to dance and also enjoyed playing horseshoes.

In addition to John, Kay is survived by her two sons, David E. Ruppert and his wife, Juli of York and Tony M. Ruppert and his wife, Amber of Dover; two granddaughters, Anastazia and Anatiara; a great grandson, Jardani; her twin brother, Jay of Perry County; two sisters, Sue and Peggy, both of Dillsburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Elaine.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a time to celebrate Kay's life from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.
