DOVER – Ladora S. "Dodie" (Miller) Gross, 89, entered into rest at 1:24 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community in New Oxford. She was the loving wife of Wayne J. Gross, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage, celebrating their anniversary on August 28, 2025.
Born December 16, 1936, in Egypt, PA, Dodie was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Arlene K. (Frantz) Miller.

In addition to her husband, Dodie is survived by four sons: Daniel W. Gross and his wife, Debra, of Dover; Michael D. Gross and his wife, Kathy, of Hanover; Theodore J. Gross and his wife, Lynne, of Hayes, VA; and Matthew M. Gross and his wife, Joann, of Malverne, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Sieglinde Uffelman of New Oxford and Shonna Meiser of Solomons Island, MD.
