Margaret L. Miller

DOVER – Margaret L. Miller, 78, entered into rest at 2:01 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at York Hospital.  She was the loving wife of the late William G. Miller, who died August 20, 2018.  They were married 60 years.

Born July 24, 1940 in York, Margaret was a daughter of the late Chester L. and Ruth E. (Schroll) Miller.

She worked as a bank teller for York Federal and later worked part-time for Weis Markets and Hills Department Store.  She was also Vice President of Bill Miller Plumbing and Heating.  Margaret and her husband also operated Wil-Mar Gospel Music Promotions for 48 years.  She attended Calvary Temple Assembly of God and was an avid cross-stitcher.

Margaret is survived by three daughters, Deborah Renda and Marcia Laughman and husband, Rusty, all of Dover and Kimberly Miller of Kodak, TN; five grandchildren, Aaron, Jennifer, Zachary, Rebecca and Briar; five great grandchildren, Isaiah, Parker, Camden, Elliott and Chase; a sister, Delores Lieberknecht of Manchester; and a brother, James Miller of Lititz.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, AnnaMae Bush.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Margaret's memorial service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2160 Roosevelt Ave., York.  Officiating will be Pastor Jim Fahringer.  Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving her family.
