DOVER – Michelle A. Orchard, 61, entered into rest Wednesday afternoon, August 26, 2026 at her home.  She was the loving wife of James M. Orchard.  The couple celebrated 39 years of marriage on February 28, 2026.

Born April 28, 1965, Michelle was a daughter of Mary Lynn (Gorman) Tice of Freehold, NJ and the late Leslie Harold Tice.

She graduated in 1984 from Matawan High School in Matawan, NJ and most recently, worked as a paralegal for Beacon Law in Dover.  She previously worked at the Law Office of Menges, Gent & McLaughlin in York.

Michelle enjoyed crafting and camping.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her three daughters, Heather M. Orchard of York, Stacy L. Orchard and companion, Thomas Brigman of Wilmington, DE and Ryan M. Orchard of Dover; five grandchildren, Jaishawn, Synia, Anthony, Savannah and Raven; sister, Kimberly Tice-DeBourke of Newtown Square; and two brothers, Robert Tice of Freehold, NJ and Sean Tice of Palm Coast, FL.

Michelle's Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Lehr Unity Park, Pavillion #1, 3700 Davidsburg Road, Dover, PA 17315.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michelle's       memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or online at www.cancer.org.  These contributions will help with Small Cell Lung Cancer Research.
