Obituary

Nancy Ann (Moul) Little

DOVER - Nancy Ann (Moul) Little, age 94, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at York Hospital on September 18, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Harry R. Little, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.

Born at York Hospital on March 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Elizabeth (Livingston) Moul and the sister of the late Jane Elizabeth Moul. Nancy graduated from Dover Area High School in 1951, where she was a basketball foul-shooting champion and a cheerleader. She was employed by York Caramel Company and Caterpillar, but her most fulfilling job was being a stay-at-home mom to her three daughters.

The family home was often filled with the neighborhood crew of children, who would play from sunup to sundown. Nancy loved helping others and volunteered with Meals on Wheels for 20 years. She served on several church committees, taught Bible school, and was a Girl Scout leader. She was a past member of the Heritage Senior Center and several card clubs, and she enjoyed playing golf with the Grandview 9-holers.

Nancy enjoyed hosting Thanksgiving, Christmas, and family cookouts. A lifelong avid sports fan, she particularly cheered for Penn State and the Philadelphia Phillies. She was a faithful soccer coach's wife, traveling to countless games and playoffs over the years.

She loved taking road trips with her mother and sister, passing along her very poor sense of direction to several of her daughters. The family cabin in Caledonia was the scene of many wonderful family trips and memories, as were visits to the beaches of New Jersey and Maryland. Along with her husband, Harry, she enjoyed dancing and dining out.

Her beautiful personality brought her many lifelong friendships. Our sweet and gentle Nancy will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Kin (husband, Ron), of York, and Michelle Little (partner, Chuck Strayer), of Dover. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Fanelli (husband, Claude), of Harrisburg.

Her beloved grandchildren include Mason Bainbridge of Harrisburg; Mikala Kin Panchot of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Randi Miller of Harrisburg; Andrei Kin of Lancaster; Jada Hare of Manchester; and Austyn Hare of Dover. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Devin Kin.

She was also richly blessed by the recent arrival of four great-grandchildren—Tatum, Presley, Cohen, and Aryanna—who brought her such joy!

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Nancy's life on Wednesday, October 7, at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 North Queen Street, Dover.  The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the Celebration of Life at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Mount Rose Cemetery.  Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Abigail Leese.
