Patricia E. Shuler

DOVER – Patricia E. (McClintock) Shuler, 80, entered into rest at 10:24 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was the loving wife of Donald R. Shuler.  The couple celebrated 57 years of marriage on January 15, 2018.

Born July 27, 1938 in Dover, Patricia was a daughter of the late Ellsworth E. and Catherine R. (Simmons) McClintock. Patricia was a homemaker who enjoyed painting and sewing.  She was a member of Rohlers Assembly of God in Dover and Pleasureville American Legion Post 799 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by four sons, Donald L. Shuler of York, Randolph Shuler, Warren Shuler and Robert Shuler, all of Dover; two grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys M. Roach and Phyllis D. Kemper, both of Dover; and a brother, Ronald E. McClintock of York.  She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Shuler. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Patricia's funeral at 1 p.m. and the viewing from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Dover Bethany Cemetery.  Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Edward Rowand.
