Raymond L. March

DOVER – Raymond L. March, 81, entered into rest at 12:55 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his home.  He was the loving husband of J. Romaine (Spangler) March.  The couple celebrated 63 years of marriage on December 19, 2017.

Born November 19, 1936 in Dover, he was a son of the late Walter E. and Kathryn E. (Coble) March.

Raymond retired in 2002 from Kinsley and had previously been employed by Deardorff's Garage and Koppers Foundry.

He was a member of East Berlin Fish & Game and the NRA.  Raymond enjoyed hunting and farming.

In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by a son, Steven R. March and wife, Janice Watt of York; four daughters, Connie J. March of Dover, Janet L. Miller and husband, Mike of York, Reba K. Reachard Evans and husband, Norindo of Dover and Amy L. Schwartz and husband, Jake of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis D. Zeigler; his brother, Roy E. March; and son-in-law, Stephen Reachard, Sr.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Raymond's funeral at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at St. Paul's Red Run Church, 6623 Davidsburg Rd., East Berlin.  The viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover and from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.  Burial will follow in St. Paul's Red Run Cemetery.  Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel W. Dellosso, Jr., interim pastor of St. Paul's Red Run Church.
