Richard E. Jacoby DOVER – Richard E. Jacoby, 82, entered into rest at 4:57 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Claire L. (Kirk) Jacoby.  The couple celebrated 38 years of marriage on March 12, 2021. Born August 12, 1939 in Stoverstown, Richard was a son of the late John G. and Amanda I. (Smith) Jacoby. He worked for Agway. Richard was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Bonnie J. Fasnacht and husband, Jeff and Kim Smith and husband, Norris; two step-sons, Eric Spahr and wife, Heidi and Craig Spahr; a step-daughter, Sally Fetrow and husband, Chad; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Wilt.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Todd A. Jacoby and Jeffrey L. Jacoby and a brother, Gordon Jacoby. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Richard's graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York.  There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 1030 a.m. at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
