Robert J. Kinsey

YORK – Robert J. Kinsey, 83, entered into rest on Sunday afternoon, October 31, 2021 at Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born October 3, 1938 in Dover, he was a son of the late John and Mabel (Shaub) Kinsey.

Robert graduated in 1957 from Dover High School and served two years in the U.S. Army.

He earned his welding certificate from York County School of Technology and retired from Precision Custom Components where he was a welder's helper.

Robert spent many happy years in his mountain home in Dover Township. He enjoyed the wildlife, riding his John Deere and walking in the woods. Robert also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid dirt track race fan and spent many weekends at Lincoln and Williams Grove Speedway.

Robert is survived by two sisters, June A. Kinsey of York and Betty Deardorff of Nazareth; two nieces; three nephews; three grand-nieces; and three grand-nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Kinsey.

There will be no services.
