Robert G. Westerhold DOVER – Robert G. Westerhold, 59, entered into rest at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home.

Born April 3, 1959 in York, Robert was the son of the late Gordon and Mary L. (Sowers) Westerhold.

He worked for the former U.S. Truck Crane Company in Thomasville.

Robert was a member of Dover Bethany U.M. Church in Dover and Dover Fish & Game. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.  He also enjoyed watching football and was happy to see the Philadelphia Eagles finally win a Super Bowl last year.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Bobbi Jo Johnson and husband, Troy of Dover; two granddaughters, Brooke and Makenzie; a sister, Brenda J. Landis, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Landis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robert's memorial service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 with a visitation to follow at Dover Bethany U.M. Church, 4510 Bull Rd., Dover.  Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Salvatore Buonocore.  Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving his family.
