Shirley E. Spangler WELLSVILLE – Shirley E. Spangler, 73, entered into rest at 3:18 a.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at her home.  She was the wife of the late David G. Spangler. Born January 4, 1947 in York, Shirley was a daughter of the late Samuel F. and Irene E. (Hess) Einsig, Sr. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Shirley is survived by two daughters, Dawn M. Christy and husband, Chris and Kristy A. Crone and husband, Josh, all of Dover; five grandchildren, Tasha I. Christy, Katelyn R., Kyle R. and Jenna E. Crone and Forrest A. Christy; a great grandson, Jason M. Christy; and a sister, Debra A. Crane of Wellsville.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel F. Einsig, Jr. Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Shirley's graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Dover Union Cemetery in Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Grace UCC in Hanover.
