Shirley E. Weaver DOVER – Shirley E. Weaver, 75, entered into rest at 7:45 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services Dallastown. Born December 16, 1944 in Mechanicsburg, she was a daughter of the late Parker and Martha (Pyles) Stone. Shirley worked in numerous factories over the years, as well as in the kitchen at Ski Roundtop. She enjoyed sewing, baking, reading, going to yard sales, playing Bingo and playing cards. Shirley is survived by six children, Connie Quick of Gaines, Christine Hayes of York, Joel Weaver of New Cumberland, Sherry Kellison of Dover, Regina Corbin of Lewisberry and Belinda Spidel of New Cumberland; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sarah Doll of Wellsville and Freda Brown of Dover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica and three brothers, Parker "Whitey" Stone, Dave Stone and Leroy Stone. Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Shirley's memorial service at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Grace U.C.C. in Hanover.
