Todd C. Decker

DOVER – Todd C. Decker, 57, entered into rest Friday evening, August 7, 2026 at WellSpan York Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Lori Decker.  The couple were married on September 12, 2025.

Born January 16, 1969 at York County Hospital, he as a son of Margaret (Hess) Ruppert of York and Doug Decker of Dover.

Todd graduated from York County Vo-Tech in 1987 as a welder, he then began his 33 years as a devoted PennDOT worker.  Todd took pride in his job and made many friends along the way.

Todd is survived by his loving wife, Lori Decker; his two daughters, Ashly and Trey McWilliams of West York and Amanda and Adam Walker of York; three step-sons, Ray Wertz of Fulton County, Ryan and Kristen Wertz of Newport News, VA and Patrick and Kelsey Temple of West York; his seven grandchildren, Rose, Elaura and Theo Walker, Cole and Ryah McWilliams, Oaklynn Temple and Brantley Wertz; sisters, Tara Decker, Megan Ruppert and Brittaney Ruppert; brothers, Andrew Decker, Adam Decker, Josh Decker and Jonathan Ruppert; and several adopted siblings.

Todd cherished every minute he could spend with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Todd and his wife recently bought a home.  He spent much of his free time fixing it up and making it a home for them and their family.  Todd took great pride in creating a place where family could make memories together.  In his spare time, Todd loved riding motorcycle and hunting.

Todd will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family, friends and all that had the privilege of knowing him.  His memory will live on in the hearts of many people whose lives he has touched.

Following cremation, services for Todd will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
