Willie Cora Julius

DOVER – Willie Cora Julius, 81, entered into rest at 6:47 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018.  She was the loving wife of Donald E. Julius.  The couple celebrated 62 years of marriage on August 12, 2018.

Born June 17, 1937 in Superior, WV, Willie was a daughter of the late Willie Gentry and Edna Mae (Hodgson) Wynegar.

Prior to retirement, Willie worked as a waitress at Alexander's restaurant where she always enjoyed socializing with co-workers and customers.

In addition to her family, two of Willie's greatest joys in life were her membership and involvement in Bermudian Church of the Brethren and an avid love of gardening which was apparent all around her home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Amy J. Julius of New Cumberland; a son, Noah M. Julius, Sr. and wife, Candy, of Dover; three grandchildren; a sister, Edna Mae Henning of Manchester; and a brother, Sam Wynegar of York.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Willie's funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Bermudian Church of the Brethren, 279 Bermudian Church Rd., East Berlin. Burial will follow in Bermudian Church Cemetery.  Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Larry Dentler.  Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving her family.
