Annamae A. Eisenhour
DOVER – Annamae Alma (Leister) Eisenhour, 81, entered into rest at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at her home. She was the loving wife of David A. Eisenhour. The couple celebrated 63 years of marriage on August 5, 2024.
Born December 24, 1943 in Harrisburg, Annamae was a daughter of the late Minzie O. and Kathryn M. (Robson) Leister, Sr.
She was a military spouse and homemaker. When her children were young, Annamae was a den mother for Cub Scouts. She was an avid Bingo player who also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafting. She had a “green thumb” as well.
In addition to her husband, Annamae is survived by her children, Robert Eisenhour of Mount Wolf, Troy Eisenhour of York, Carla Eisenhour of Florida and Rodney Eisenhour of Hawaii; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Ethel E. Green of York; and four brothers, Minzie O. Leister, Jr., Calvin D. Leister and James A. Leister, all of York and William L. Leister of Hellam. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Annamae’s funeral at 10 a.m. and the viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Officiating will be Chaplain Donald Alspaugh of Memorial White Rose Hospice. Following cremation, burial will be private in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.
