WEST YORK – Archie C. Hoke, Jr., 72, of West York, passed away, Sunday, May 25, 2025, at UPMC Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA.

Archie was born June 6, 1952, in York and was the son of the late Archie C. Hoke, Sr. and Dorothy E. (Harlacher) Hoke.

Prior to his retirement, Archie was employed as a truck driver by USF Glen Moore of Carlisle, PA.  He volunteered with East Berlin Fire Company, enjoyed attending car races at Lincoln Speedway and was a member of the East Berlin V.F.W. Post 8896 in East Berlin, PA.

He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Hoke (wife Sonja) three nephews, Kenneth (wife Lisa), Thomas (wife Sarah), and Matthew (wife Alexis); one niece, Kimberly (husband Brian); six great-nieces and four great-nephews.

His funeral service and burial will be private.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Dover, PA.
