Barbara L. Stambaugh

YORK – Barbara Lorraine (Bruce) Stambaugh, 71 of York, PA passed away January 1, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Barbara is survived by her two children, Mike Stambaugh and Kristen Stambaugh, four grandchildren and two great granddaughters, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy and which she loved deeply and always put first.  She also leaves behind a sister and three brothers.

A devoted and hardworking woman, Barbara spent many years working at Starbucks, where she later retired.

She found joy in simple pleasures – camping along the Susquehanna River and growing flowers, both of which reflected her calm and nurturing spirit.

A celebration of life will be held around Mother’s Day near the river she loved.  Details will be shared with family and friends.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
