Brenda S. Harlacher

DOVER – Brenda S. (Rohrbaugh) Harlacher, 56, entered into rest Monday morning, October 27, 2025 at her home.  She was the loving and devoted wife of Jody J. Harlacher.  The couple just celebrated 25 years of marriage on October 14, 2025.

Born October 30, 1968 in Hanover, Brenda was a daughter of the late William C. and Lois V. (Baugher) Rohrbaugh.

She graduated from New Oxford High School in 1986 and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Elizabethtown College.  Brenda had over 30 years of service for Dentsply Sirona where she was an accountant.  She previously worked for Hanover Shoe and Cruse’s Optical.

Brenda attended Church of the Open Door.  She enjoyed traveling and cherished any time she was able to spend with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Brenda is survived by three children, Justin C. Harlacher and wife, Angela J. of Mechanicsburg, Alicia D. Kelly and husband, Spencer T. of Palmyra and Kyra A. Beck and husband, Tyler R. of Wellsville; four grandchildren, Tyler Shertzer, Elias Beck, Margot Briggs and Oliver Beck; a brother, Michael W. Rohrbaugh and wife, Michaela G. of New Oxford; a sister, Debra J. Rohrbaugh and companion, Jason Shearer of New Oxford; and a large extended family.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the service to celebrate Brenda’s life at 11 a.m. and the visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Ct., York.  Officiating will be Pastor Brett Ayers.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
