Carl E. Leathery

DOVER - Carl E. Leathery, 86, entered into rest Thursday evening, May 28, 2026 at Yorkview Nursing & Rehabilitation.  He was the husband of the late Patsy A. (Gayman) Leathery.

Born August 29, 1939 in York, Carl was a son of the late Eli D. and Edna V. (Zinn) Leathery. 

Carl graduated from Northern York High School and retired from Kinard Trucking where he was an assistant mechanic.

Carl was a lifetime member of Northern York County Fish & Game Association and a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.  He enjoyed hunting and spending time in the woods.

Carl is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy L. Leathery, three brothers and five sisters.

Following cremation, services will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
