Clark Wayne Study
DOVER – Clark Wayne Study, 80 of Dover, PA, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at Pappus House in Thomasville, PA. He was the husband of Beverly (Mellott) Study whom he married 57 years ago on September 28, 1968.
Clark was born July 24, 1945, in Hanover, PA and was the son of the late Samuel P. and Ruth E. (Snyder) Study.
He graduated in 1964 from Southwestern Senior High School in Hanover, PA. He was employed by Precision Components, DynCorp in York and later Threefold Janitorial Services before retiring in 2011. He was a member of the Shiloh American Legion Post # 791. He attended St. Paul’s Red Run Church in East Berlin, PA and was a member of Church of the Open Door in York, PA. Clark proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, Clark is survived by his son, Derek C. Study and his wife Bethany of Shiloh, PA; his daughters, Donita C. Study-Beaver of Windsor, PA, and Dara C. Keidel and her husband Nathan of Bronx, NY; seven grandchildren, Kiyoshi, Samuel, Keira, Collin, Keanu, Kailani, and Carys, and his brother, Larry Study of Houston, TX.
His funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 26, 2025, at Church of the Open Door, 8 Carlisle Court, York, PA. His viewings will be Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 47 North Queen Street, Dover, PA and Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the church. His burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Rest Haven Cemetery, Westminster & Boundary Avenues, Hanover, PA. Officiating at his service will be Pastors Zach Stec and Jeremy Drake. The York County Veterans Honor Guard will provide full Military Honors at his graveside service.
