Colleen A. Hoffman

YORK – Colleen A. Hoffman, 90, entered into rest at 12 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Country Meadows of York – West.  She was the wife of the late Paul J. Hoffman, Sr. with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.

Born July 30, 1935 in York, she was a daughter of the late Urie J. and Lorene E. (Lewis) Wallick.

Colleen graduated in 1953 from William Penn High School.  Following graduation, she worked at Blue Bird Silk Mill and Tioga Mill in York.  She enjoyed her job as a bus driver for the Dover Area School district for 12 years.  She also was a bookkeeper for her husband's business, Paul J. Hoffman, Contractor. Colleen loved people, and was known for her friendliness.  She enjoyed painting, the beach, and most of all, time spent with her family.

Colleen attended Lighthouse Baptist Church of Greater York.

She is survived by two sons, Paul J. Hoffman, Jr. and wife, Debra of Pottstown and Timothy J. Hoffman and wife, Emily of Dover; two daughters, Deborah J. Brockman and Rebekah J. Kennell and husband, Tyler of Keyser, WV; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, U. Jim Wallick of Minnesota; and sister, Barbara Galka of Spring Grove.  Thanks to Jean Elicker for the care she showed our mother in her final year.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Colleen’s funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Lighthouse Baptist Church of Greater York, 5005 Carlisle Rd., Dover.  Burial will follow in Dover Union Cemetery.  Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Sterling Walsh, Jr.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
