DOVER – Dale E. Fisher, 75, entered into rest at 7:35 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at WellSpan York Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Barbara J. (Sones) Fisher.  The couple celebrated 50 years of marriage on August 29, 2020.
 
Born February 3, 1946 in Kingston, Dale was the son of the late Ralph A. and Ruth A. (Hitchcock) Fisher.
 
He was a graduate of Elk Lake High School and worked as a certified welding inspector, retiring in 2012 from Boilermakers Local 13.
 
Dale was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in York.  He was also a member of Cumberland Valley Corvette Club, York Area RC Club (Academy of Model Aeronautics) and Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association.  He enjoyed flying, racing, hunting in his younger years, tractor shows, restoring tractors and rebuilding model airplanes.
 
In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by two daughters, Angela J. Wilt and husband, Noll of Chambersburg and Mary R. Fisher of Baytown, TX; a son, Paul M. Fisher and wife, Amanda of York; daughter-in-law, Capri Fisher of York; eight grandchildren, Jaleb, Jaron, Aedan and wife, Sara, Ashton, Shirlene, Kendall, Dalton and Laine; a sister, Norma Manning of Binghamton, NY; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Joseph D. Fisher; and a sister, Marilyn Cooke.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dale’s funeral at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2100 Hollywood Drive, York.  Those in attendance are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.  Burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Lynn Cemetery, Springville, PA.  Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving his family.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 13 Scholarship Fund, 2300 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA 19056.
