David L. Keller

DOVER - David L. Keller, 74, entered into rest Monday morning, June 8, 2026 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Janet L. (King) Keller.  The couple celebrated 53 years of marriage on October 7, 2025.

Born September 20, 1951 in York, David was a son of the late E. Leon and Mary E. (Jennings) Keller.

He was proud to be a member of the first graduating class of York Vo-Tech.  David retired from Precision Components Corporation where he was a draftsman. 

He was very involved with the Boy Scouts and received the Silver Beaver Award.  David was a member of the Compassionate Friends and the Organ Donor Foundation.  He was a very simple man who would do what he could for anyone he could.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth A. Miller of Dover; a son, Michael A. Keller of Dover; three grandchildren, Joseph D. “JD” Miller, Austin M. Keller and Joshua O. Miller; four great grandchildren; a brother, James V. Keller of York; five sisters, Jeanne M. Boyer of Hanover, Mary Elizabeth Naill, Mary Catherine Mosebrook, Mary Bernadette Keller and Anne E. Vottero, all of York; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Joseph E. Keller and Thomas D. Keller; two grandchildren, Emily Miller and Jacob Miller; and a brother, Thomas A. Keller.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend David’s funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.  Officiating will be Father Celestine Nwakwuo, OP of St. Rose of Lima Church.
