David L. Neiman

DOVER – David L. Neiman, 64, entered into rest at 12:45 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 at WellSpan York Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Brenda (Rouscher) Neiman.  They were married for 43 years.

Born October 2, 1957 in Dover, David was a son of the late Paul A. and Alyce E. “Doll” (Lamparter) Neiman.

He graduated from York Vo-Tech in 1975.

David worked as a welder for York Septic Tank Company and retired from Weis Markets where he was a night manager.

David was a member of the Northern York County Fish & Game.  He loved hunting and going to the mountains.  David enjoyed family vacations, especially taking his grandkids to Disney World. He also enjoyed attending York Revolution games with his family.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, David is survived by two sons, Shaun Neiman and wife, Emilee Neiman of Dover and Chad Neiman of Dover; four grandchildren, Ethan, Chris, Ben and Charlotte; a brother, Lowell Neiman of Dover; and two sisters, Chloe Wigfield and June Shoemaker, both of Dover.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin “Bill” Neiman.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend David’s funeral at 11:30 a.m. and the viewing from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St. Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Scott Gladfelter.
