David C. Walters

LEWISBERRY – David Charles Walters, 67, entered into rest on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill.  He was the loving husband of Beatrice A. (Coble) Walters.  The couple celebrated 41 years of marriage on September 26, 2022.

Born August 22, 1955 in Natrona Heights, he was a son of the late Dr. Charles H. and Marjorie L. (Elwood) Walters.

David graduated from William Penn Senior High School, York, in 1973 and from Pennsylvania State University in 1977, where he earned a B.S. in finance.

In 2008, he co-founded the investment advisory firm Retirement Collaborative LLC in Harrisburg.  David previously worked as a senior vice president and trust officer for various local banks.  He was a member of Lowther Manor Lodge No. 781, F&AM.  He was a past committee chairman of BSA Troop 312.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by two sons, David C. Walters II of London, UK and Philip J. Walters of Lewisberry; 2 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law; and 5 nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edwin L. Walters.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend David’s funeral at 3 p.m. and the viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Grace U.C.C. in Hanover.
