WRIGHTSVILLE – Derek A. Grove, 42, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at his home.

Born December 28, 1982 in York, he was a son of Donald L. and Teresa K. (Franklin) Grove of Wrightsville.

Derek graduated from Dover Area High School in 2001.

He enjoyed hunting, boating, playing pool and was a Penn State football fan.

In addition to his parents, Derek is survived by his daughter, Makenna L. Grove of Wrightsville; brother, Joshua Grove and wife, Nicole of York; two nephews, Sebastian and Gavino Grove; and maternal grandmother, Sandra L. Franklin.

Services for Derek will be private.  Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. in Dover.
