Dolores T. Crider
SHIPPENSBURG – Dolores T. (Beideman) Crider, 74, entered into rest at 7:05 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at her home. She was the loving & caring wife of Walter C. Crider. They were married almost 55 years.
Born July 19, 1950 in Philadelphia, Dolores was a daughter of the late Samuel S. and Margaret M. (Brennan) Beideman.
Dolores was a homemaker who had also worked in child care. She was a member of Covenant Brethren Church in Shippensburg. Dolores enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting and sewing with fellow residents of her community at the Country Manor Clubhouse. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and friends.
In addition to her husband, Dolores is survived by four children, Patricia Ann Crider of Dover, Walter Joseph Crider of East Berlin, Susan Theresa Agerholm of York and Samuel Curtis Crider of Shippensburg; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Catrambone and Katherine Bowen, both of Philadelphia.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dolores’ funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be retired pastor, Ken Mills.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rohler’s Lutheran Church, 791 Rohlers Church Rd., Dover, PA 17315.
