Doris A. Boering
YORK HAVEN – Doris A. Boering, 81, entered into rest at 10:40 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg. She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Boering.
Born October 28, 1943 in York, Doris was a daughter of the late Victor and Bessie (Anson) Enochs.
She graduated from Dover High School and retired from Sylvania where she worked as a quality inspector.
Doris enjoyed camping, playing bingo, ceramic painting, as well as diamond painting.
She is survived by two children, Missy D. Klepper and husband, David of York Haven and Matt Boering and wife, Robin of Thomasville; son-in-law, Ed Williams of Mechanicsburg, husband of the late Stephanie Williams; six grandchildren, Aubrey Thompson(Chris), Colt Boyer and family, Kye Williams(Amanda); and great grandchildren, Avalyn and Owen Thompson and Jairdan Wu; three brothers, Victor Enochs, Jr., Leroy Enochs and Joe Enochs; and three sisters, Ronnie Hillman, Becky Maitino and Serena.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Doris’ funeral at 2 p.m. and the viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Emig Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Salem Union Cemetery, Dover. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier, pastor of Christ U.C.C. in Jefferson.
