YORK – Doris F. (Neiman) Crager, 78, entered into rest at 5:04 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was the loving wife of Richard E. Crager.  The couple celebrated 59 years of marriage on November 25, 2020.
 
Born April 13, 1943 in York, Doris was a daughter of the late Stewart H. and Ruthanna (Leas) Neiman.
 
She graduated from Northeastern High School in 1961 and was a homemaker.
 
Doris was a member of Dover Bethany U.M. Church.  She enjoyed family genealogy as well as traveling to all 50 states with her husband.
 
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, James S. Crager and wife, Tinamarie Crager of York; brother, Ray Neiman of York; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Weaver.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Doris’ funeral at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Dover Bethany U.M. Church, 4510 Bull Rd., Dover.  The viewings will be at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday.  Burial will be in Dover Bethany Cemetery.  Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Salvatore Buonocore.  Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover is serving her family.
