Doris M. Edgecomb
DOVER – Doris M. Edgecomb, 71, entered into rest at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was the loving wife of David A. Edgecomb, Jr. The couple celebrated 51 years of marriage on November 24, 2023.
Born February 14, 1953 in Dover, Doris was a daughter of the late William A. and Geraldine Mae (Edleblute) Bobb.
She graduated from York Vo-Tech in 1972. Doris had 19 years of service for Raycom Electronics in Dover. She had also worked for Tighe Industries.
Doris enjoyed playing cards, watching Days of Our Lives, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her beloved dog, “Sheeba”.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Todd Edgecomb, Sr. and girlfriend, Kristen, Robert Edgecomb and wife, Candy and Joy Logue and husband James; grandchildren, Hope(husband, Evan), Todd, Jr., Michael(fiancée, Victoria), Hunter(fiancée, Morgan), Christopher, Stanton III, Dean, Tanya and Daniel, Jr.; great grandchildren, Hailey, Allison, Autumn, Brentley, Harper, Taylor and Caydence; four sisters, Nancy Beschler, Jean Ream, June Lehr and Alice Mimnall; two brothers, Ralph and William Bobb; and sister-in-law, Dolly Cotnoir and husband, Larry. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Lou Edgecomb; sister, Mary Bobb; granddaughters, Destiny and Ashlynn and nephew, Scott Beschler.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Doris’ funeral at 12 noon and the viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown. Officiating will be the Rev. Edward J. Rowand, pastor of Rohler’s Assembly of God in Dover.
