Doris V. Lamparter

DOVER – Doris V. Lamparter, 92, entered into rest Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at her home.  She was the loving wife of the late Eugene J. Lamparter, Sr.  They were married 73 years.

Born August 3, 1929 in East Berlin, Doris was a daughter of the late Ira and Daisy (Shultz) Eisenhart.

She had over 30 years of service for BonTon Foods in York.  Doris enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and raising livestock.  She also liked to listen to country music and go to dances.

Doris is survived by four sons, Curtis L. Lamparter, Robert A. Lamparter and Raydean G. “George” Lamparter, all of Dover and Scott L. Lamparter of Carlisle; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a sister, Zelma Lebo of East Berlin.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death a son, Eugene J. Lamparter, Jr.; a sister, Dolly Messinger; and two brothers, Richard and Sherman Eisenhart.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Doris’ funeral at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover.  There will be viewings from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
