YORK – Elda R. Dixon, 84, entered into rest at 11:33 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Clifton R. Dixon, Sr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
 
Born March 4, 1936 in Frackville, PA she was the daughter of the late Rev. Lester N. and Elda M. (Fidler) Moser.
 
Elda worked for M&T Bank and following retirement, Partners in Family Health.
 
She was a member of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed playing the piano, reading and putting jigsaw puzzles together.
 
Elda is survived by two sons, C. Rodney Dixon, Jr. and wife, Karen of Dover and Lester J. Dixon and wife, Kathie of York; three grandsons, Jason and wife, Colette, Ryan and wife, Laura and Luke; a great granddaughter, Emma and a great grandson, Ryley; three step-grandchildren, Janelle Gehman (Mike), Jason Reimer (Kayla) and Krissy Smolth (Cori); and ten step-great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Avery Marie Dixon.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Elda’s funeral at 2:30 p.m. and the viewing from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene, 400 Stillmeadow Lane, York.  Burial will be private in Salem Union Cemetery.  Officiating will be Pastors Josh Kleinfeld and John Farley.  Those in attendance are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.  Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving her family.
