DOVER – Eugene G. Hildebrand, 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York. He was the husband of the late Blanche L. (Fetrow) Hildebrand.

Born April 21, 1931 in York, Eugene was a son of the late M. Percy and Elsie C. (Sterner) Hildebrand.

He was retired from Cole Steel after 38 years of service.

Mr. Hildebrand is survived by his son, Donald Hildebrand and wife, Judy; two grandchildren, Donnie Hildebrand, Jr. and Patty McNett and husband, John; and four great grandchildren, Jackie and Cody McNett and Kaitlyn and Bailee Hildebrand. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Hildebrand; a great granddaughter, Alana Marie McNett; two brothers, Morris and Harold Hildebrand; and a sister, Catharine Mundy.

Funeral services will be private with burial in Mount Rose Cemetery. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is in charge of arrangements.
