George J. Miller
DOVER – George J. Miller, 72, entered into rest at 2:09 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at UPMC Memorial. He was the loving companion of Connie L. Schenandore. They were together for over 23 years.
Born April 2, 1949 in York, George was a son of the late T. William Estep, Sr. and Catherine M. (Leas) Wertz.
He worked as a truck driver for Penn Waste and Shimmel’s and also helped at D.B. Crisamore Tree Service.
George collected John Deere memorabilia and Hess trucks. He enjoyed fixing cars.
In addition to his companion, Connie, George is survived by his step-son, Craig Schenandore and wife, Janet of West York; a brother, Thomas William “Bill” Estep, Sr. and wife, Iris of Manchester; step-sister, Ruth Hoffman of York; aunt, Ellen E. Loesch of York; and uncle, Robert Leas of York; and his beloved dog, Dusty. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Estep; and a sister, Mary Wertz.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend George’s funeral at 7 p.m. and the viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Officiating will be Pastor Stephen Hunter.
