Grace L. Julius
DOVER – Grace L. (King) Julius, 94, peacefully entered into rest at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at her home. She was the loving wife of Glenn Julius. The couple celebrated 71 years of marriage on August 19, 2022.
Born January 29, 1928 in Washington Township, Grace was a daughter of the late Harvey and Edith (Renoll) King.
She graduated from East Berlin High School and earned an Associate’s Degree in business from Elizabethtown College. Grace had 29 years of service for the York County Chamber of Commerce. She was an active lifetime member of Bermudian Church of the Brethren in East Berlin, having served as organist, pianist, choir director and Sunday school teacher. Grace was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and traveling across the United States with her husband.
In addition to her husband, Grace is survived by two sons, David L. Julius of Dover and Galen M. Julius and wife, Marilyn of East Berlin; three grandsons, Collin Julius and wife, Laura, Dustin Julius and wife, Renee and Ean Julius and wife, Morgan; and three great grandchildren, Peter, Leo and Molly Julius. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Helen Nell.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the service to celebrate Grace’s life at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Bermudian Church, 279 Bermudian Church Rd., East Berlin. Officiating will be her former pastor, Larry Dentler. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Bermudian Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover is serving her family.
