Harry B. Gladfelter
Harry Burdis Gladfelter, 83, entered into rest on Friday, June 14, 2024 at his home.
Born March 12, 1941 in York, he was a son of the late George H. and Catharine V. (Lentz) Gladfelter.
He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1959 and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Harry retired from Cooper Tools where he was a Millwright.
He was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post 791 and West Manchester Township Farmers and Sportsmen Association. Harry enjoyed motorcycle riding, music, street rodding and building a street rod, as well as camping.
He is survived by his brother, Ralph Gladfelter and his wife, Anne of York and sister, Freida Gray and husband, Ronald of Dover, as well as nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Harry’s graveside service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York where veteran’s honors will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. The procession will form at the cemetery's entrance at 9:45 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Crosley of Harmony Grove Community Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Dover.
