Henry S. Dugan, Jr.

DOVER – Henry S. Dugan, Jr., 65, entered into rest at 4:18 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024 at The Gardens at West Shore in Camp Hill.  He was the loving husband of Carol J. (Urich) Dugan.  The couple had been together for 44 years and celebrated 38 years of marriage on April 20, 2023.

Born October 28, 1958 in York, Henry was a son of the late Henry S. and Lorna M. (Altland) Dugan.

He worked as a truck driver and had been a member of Dover Fish & Game and Yellow Breeches Anglers & Conservation Association.  Henry was an all around outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.  He was also a devoted Pappy to his granddaughter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Bryan A. Dugan and wife, Heather of Dover; granddaughter, Miranda “MJ” Dugan; and a sister, Brenda Dugan of York.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandy and Barbara.

Following cremation, there will be a time to celebrate Henry's life from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Dover U.C.C., 45 W. Canal St., Dover.
